Writing sentences about the four friends

Year 3 listened to the story Les quatres Amis , aciting out the verbs associated with each animal. They then identified,nouns ,verbs and adjectives in sentences. They were then given parts of sentences on cards which they then sorted to describe each animal form the story. They worked with a partner to sort the cards and then independently wrote sentences to describe each animal.
